New Zealand is having a low unemployment ratio compared to most of the other countries. Students can work 20 hours part-time during studies & full time during their summer holidays helping students to cover their living costs. Students on completion of most courses including 1-year Diploma course are eligible for a 1-year job search visa when they can work full time. Students with full-time job offers in the relevant area of study may extend their visa by converting it to Work Permit / Permanent Residency depending on their eligibility.

✔ Education & Living Cost: The estimated tuition fees for New Zealand ranges from approximately 12000 NZ$ to 28000 NZ Dollars depending on the university and level of study. On average, an international student spends about 800 – 1000 NZ$ per month on accommodation, food, transport & other costs.
✔ English language requirements: You should clear IELTS, PTE or any other required English tests with a good score in order to get admission in one of the top universities of New Zealand. Higher the English proficiency test score, better university options you’ll get.
✔ Student accommodations: Students can decide about their accommodation before they arrive in New Zealand. Look for apartments near to your university. Most of the universities have in-campus accommodations. Search for a few accommodations online and reserve one in advance for safety purposes.
✔ Important documents with the university: Make sure you submit all the documents demanded by the university. You should submit your enrollment form in order to receive an orientation date, which is compulsory for all the international students.
